We are led by our desire to create, uplift and empower brands that will produce lasting good in our time.

DrawHistory is a creative consultancy for purpose-driven organisations. We collaborate with corporates and nonprofits such as Motorola and TEDx in their brand, communications and strategy. In 2016, we worked with over 40 clients to impact thousands of consumers, and was featured in media publications such as The Huffington Post and Yahoo!News.

Collaborative icon

We’re about building relationships, not simple connections. DrawHistory is focused on more than just superficial chatter and understand that conversations can help build bridges between sectors and individuals. It’s what makes collaboration with lots of people work.

Resources icon

Building capacity is at the heart of who we are at DrawHistory. We’re a team that enables people to make a bigger difference by equipping them with the resources needed to grow for the future. That means we train your team and guide you through the creative process so that you have deeper ownership of your work.

People icon

Being real people counts for a lot at DrawHistory. We believe that we do our best work when we can be who we are. You’ll only find genuine, warm and passionate people when you work with us, because how else are we going to solve the world’s greatest challenges together?

Beyond horizon icon

Special things come from those who dare to ask the big questions. We love seeing beyond the horizon, whether that looks like a new brand strategy or the latest Stanford d.school research, because it helps prepare our colleagues and collaborators for what’s ahead.

Jeffrey Effendi
Jeffrey is the creative heart of the DrawHistory team and has consulted for public listed companies, multinational nonprofits and State Government departments. His focus is to provide creative direction on brand strategies and design digital experiences that connect with people. Outside of DrawHistory, Jeffrey is involved with organisations such as UNICEF Australia and the World Economic Forum. He can also be found reciting Drake raps and expertly wreaking havoc in Fantasy Basketball leagues.
Angel Chen
Angel facilitates and oversees DrawHistory's strategic partnerships and has coordinated programs and events for organisations like World Vision Youth, UN Women and the United Nations Association of Australia. She ensures that the relationships we create with our clients and collaborators are always in good shape. When she's not chatting over coffee, Angel enjoys traveling as much as possible, exploring the Perth brunch scene and looking into the next Grey's Anatomy episode.
Caleb Stent
Caleb is our free-spirited Brand Strategist. He has worked at big agencies like Red Meets Blue and in-house with the iiNet team in Perth. Caleb also founded our brother agency, Mighty, an arm that focuses on hospitality and retail markets. Caleb's focus is to collaborate with our clients to help them discover and define their brand story. His favourite things include old motorcycles, his fiancé, bodyboarding and security detail, Chief the Pug - not necessarily in that order.
Tawanda Kungache
As the team's cultural powerhouse, Tawanda makes sure that DrawHistory is a team that collaborators are excited to work with every day. He acts as business strategist and relationship manager, bridging the gap between client and creative, orchestrating the communications so our team can focus on their work. You'll often find Tawanda humming to a Hillsong number (or three). Born a people person, he is also a big part of organisations like Nations Church and the World Economic Forum.

“I came to work every day feeling happy, satisfied and challenged, because I was eager to contribute to amazing causes around the world. DrawHistory’s values aligned with my personal values, and that motivated me a lot. That’s a feeling I’ve not experienced in a workplace before.”
Danielle Scott
Danielle is our only non-Australian creative and has been with DrawHistory since early 2016, when she stepped in to fine-tune our brand. If she's not on Adobe Illustrator exploring hundreds of brand concepts, then she's most likely translating impact into stories on Adobe InDesign. Previously, Danielle was a Brand Manager at Water for People and is now an Art Director at Welltok Healthcare. Being an Offshore Designer, she lives in the mountainous Denver, CO area with her husband.
Jessica Chew
Jessica is our well-traveled Coordinator and advocate extraordinaire. Bringing almost 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and research from the Cambodian business and International Development sector, Jessica makes sure that DrawHistory chugs along like a well-oiled machine internally, from what our interview questions look like to the pilot community programs we deliver. Outside of work, you'll see Jessica transfixed in wonder by the latest entrepreneurial goings and daydreaming about Canada.
Jenny Mackintosh
The designated creative for many things print, you can find Jenny sketching imaginative illustrations on her Wacom tablet if she's not already on Adobe InDesign gearing up for the latest batch of brochures, postcards and reports. She's also been put to the test in design roles with Oxfam and the Cancer Council. Jenny spends her spare time gaming for PlayStation trophies, self-enlisting in fitness bootcamps and drinking English Breakfast tea - with a dash of milk.
Oakland the Pug
What's not to love about Oakland? He has made our office his second home - the little guy regularly lounges by our beanbags and zips around the floor, peeing on things. Oakland's appetite for treats comes and goes, but his crazy antics and moral support for the DrawHistory family is always welcomed. Thinking of visiting our office? Let us know ahead of time and we can make sure Oakland is in to show you around!
